I’ve lived in Austin since 1995, and have been investing in real estate since 2000. I’ve been a licensed REALTOR® since 2003. In addition to helping clients buy and sell homes in Austin, I’ve purchased vacant lots and performed general contractor duties in connection with the construction and remodeling of multi-family and single-family custom homes with prices ranging from $200,000 to $800,000. My experience also includes managing multi-family and single-family rental properties. I’ve recently completed GRI classes, two of three major steps toward achieving the nationally recognized Graduate Realtor Institute designation.
I have always had an interest in real estate; however, before earning my real estate license I had many experiences that I bring with me to my real estate profession. I spent 3 years in the United States Army and served my country at Camp Casey (Tongduchon), Korea, and Ft. Hood, Texas. I worked in the Army’s Human Resources division where I acted as a liaison between local personnel and branch managers in Washington D.C. to resolve conflicts and prepare officers for various promotion boards.
I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and environmental science. I worked in the environmental field for several years where I focused on researching, managing and providing regulatory oversight for contaminated properties throughout Texas and Tennessee.
I currently live in north-central Austin with my husband, Joe, and two wonderful children, Colin and Peyton.
